As we grow older, we often reflect on the things we wish we had known when we were younger. Entering adulthood can be an exciting and nerve-wracking time, full of new experiences and challenges. Here are 10 things I wish I knew before embarking on this journey:
Take a deep breath and relax, it's okay if you don't have everything figured out. You won't even have it figured out when you're older. Its always changing.
Don't let mistakes scare you - they're excellent teachers, so embrace them!
Your mind and body are equally important, so take care of both.
Hang out with loved ones and make memories that last a lifetime.
Chase your passions like a cheetah on the hunt and try new things along the way.
Some people are just assholes, its not your job to change them and ok to move on.
Travel to faraway lands, meet new people, and embrace different cultures.
Love yourself like a fluffy puppy and pamper yourself often.
Life is not a race, so enjoy your unique path and don't compare yourself to others.
Remember that you are a superstar capable of achieving anything you put your mind to!
Adulting is a rollercoaster ride, and once you strap in, you realize that things rarely go according to plan. But that's where the fun begins! You learn to swerve and pivot like a pro, rather than sulking in a corner. It's so incredibly easy to pity yourself and feel like the world is against you. But truly your the own enemy you have.
